ABOUT ME

I am a scientist/engineer with more than 30 years experience who combines technical knowledge with innovation for practical, holistic solutions. I am an expert in evaluation and design of advanced coagulation, clarification, filtration, disinfection, and membrane technologies for water treatment. I have implemented changes in source waters, treatment plants, and distribution systems.

 

Where needed, I utilize data analytics for the optimization of water quality and efficiency at treatment plants. I am sought out for problem solving, implementing solutions at existing facilities. I have managed over $10M in funded research projects from the Water Research Foundation and the US-Israel Binational Industrial Research and Development (BIRD) Foundation.

My education includes a BS in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University, a MS in Environmental Engineering, and a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. I am a registered Professional Engineer in NJ.
